Hello Oliver

Sorry Oliver, I have to agree with John on this one.

When I go out or away for the weekend, I don`t want to have to leave my
computer on, just to receive faxes. I expect to be able to use stfax and the
solo as advertised - ie together or in independent mode.

It`s no good continuously making excuses for something that doesn`t do the
job it`s advertised to do.

For example, I don`t know what the voice situation is with the solo and
stfax now as I gave up using it ages ago. The reason I stopped using it was
because it kept on answering phone calls as if they were faxes. You could
say, "well it`s only a small problem, you can still send faxes."

BUT if while using it as a voice mail facility, a client who is interested
in my services, decides to try another production company because he`s peed
off with getting beeps in his ear, well that could be several thousands of
pounds lost to my company.

Now that`s a rather large problem for me.

God I went on a bit there ; )

Any way no offence intended, IMHO stfax cost what 30, it isn`t worth
bothering about. I have a normal fax machine and as for my solo it`s
excellent for internet use so hey yada yada yada . . . here i go again ; )
