David,

There has been one other place that I know of with a similar problem with Type 7 kbds. They seemed to find that if you plug the mouse directly into the SR2, you could wake the system with the mouse, but still not with the keyboard. This is just a temporary work-around.

As far as I have been able to find, this only happens in CAM mode and is related to a problem with the xscreensaver.

How screensaver effects in CAM mode?. AFAIK, screen lock should not be activated in CAM mode.

Thanks

The reason it doesn't happen with JDS is that the screensaver app was re-written by Sun.

Help
I have problem with Sunray 2's using the new Type 7 keyboard/mouse kit. They go to sleep and there is no way to wake them up. The keyboard is no longer
functional until we power cycle the DTU.
I am running 3 Sun T2000's in a failover, with non smart card CAM Mode
connecting to 5 Sun 4600 ESX (VMWARE Servers) via RDP. The SR Servers are running Solaris 10 with SRSS 4.0. I don't know if this is a keyboard issue.
Has anyone else seen this problem, and is there a work-around.

Thanks in Advance
