Hi,
I'd like to switch from using dtlogin in my Solaris Sun Ray environments
to gdm. The main driver for this is the ability to change users default file
creationpermissions (umask) under Gnome
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=305931) apparantly I can work
around this using a umask setting in gdm (in the XSession file).
Couldn't you put your umask command into dtlogin's Xsession files?
They are (at least on Solaris 9) in /etc/dt/config
I have done some light testing with this - an in all cases the umask
setting was ignored/did not work.
