Still using 5.02 (in 9.1) but without direct disc copy, which caused complete freezup shortly after starting the process. (I tried it only out of curiosity and is not an important feature for me.) After a couple of coasters I moved along and haven't bothered with it since. Both my burners are external SCSI. For me, it feels safer to moved the data to a temporary or permanent scratch partition before it is prepared for the burn, but I speak only for my 'ancient' S900.
