Well thanks for the ideas Nancy & Will.  And yes I'm still sticking with IE
for the time being anyhow.  I ended up contacting USPS regarding the problem
and they responded this morning.  It would seem that the problem was that
USPS hasn't YET updated the main shipping label site for Mac so it had
stopped working properly.

Apparently this is an issue to USPS and until they do update it, they have
provided an alternative page for specifically Mac Users, which ironically is
identical to the one I was using except for the Mac reference.

I thought I'd post it in case somebody here can use it.

The interesting thing is, the problem duplicates itself after doing the
first label and selecting 'Print Another Label' at the bottom.  This is
where I would also save the page to favorites so my 'Sender' settings
remained in the fields.  What happens is the right hand 'States' window
shade does not display the states.  I'd be curious if anybody else has the
same results.  I'm also writing USPS again to inform them because they
probably overlooked it in the page design.
