I sometimes have the same problem, but it only happens to me if I use the back button to reach the page. For example, I fill in an address, print out the completed form and then use the back button intending to create another label and all the state names are blank. But it doesn't always happen.
On an irrelevant note, it is irritating that their Java programmers can't write Java which is platform independent. The more up to date label printer will let you pay the postage on-line but only works with PCs because of Java incompatibilities.
