I just got a new 250 gig WD IDE 133 drive. I hooked it up to my Acard 133.
Fired the machine up, initialized the drive...great so far. I installed
Jaguar on my 80 gig drive about 2 years ago and remember it was a pain, but
I got it done. Now when I try to intall Panther on the new drive using
XPostFacto, it tells me that the drive isn't bootable because it cant find
the Open Firmware name. I tried to install Jag on it and got the same
response.
I guess I ought to dig through the archives and find the answer, but can
one of you gurus give me the quick and dirty solution?
Mike
