Thanks Mekavich,

I don't know how big the hd or how old they are I was given the umax by my
old boss I know why now lol, and the hd's from a friend who sells pc's go
figure he had them lying around but not even he knows how old or what size
they are I tried the FWD harddisk toolkit and that either doesn't do
anything or crashes with an unknown error of -50 I think it was but I will
try using my os 9 install disk and getting that scsiprobe you mentioned as
well see if that works for me thanks.

I'll keep you posted to how I get on :o)
