Well I just tried safe mode and still the same and I'm not going through
the hassle of setting up another profile and have mail split between two
profiles I'm on over a hundred Groups on Yahoo and pretty much have mail
coming in 24/7 and besides why should I have to do these extra steps
just to do this. Lets see how long have we been able to do a simple
cut/copy & paste on computers now, since what Windows 3.1? You'd think
something as old as that would have been an automatic leave it in for
the programmers, I'd even bet that they used it a lot during the writing
of 2.0. And since it's still in my clipboard I'm running (paste) Windows
XP Home Edition Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600. Oh and I
just tried something else, I just did a copy of the SeaMonkey 2.0
homepage address as well as some text from that page and tried pasting
it into MS Wordpad and no luck, it still pastes what I copied from
System Info over an hour ago in place of the fresh copy so the bug must
be on the copy side of the programing.

Well it looks like I'm definitely going back to 1.1.18, I was just
trying to write an email to someone and at first wanted to copy a web
site address from 2.0 browser into the body of the letter and couldn't
then after I manually typed it in I realized I should move it to earlier
in the sentence and couldn't this really sucks, every time I would try
to paste it would put in something I copied earlier from outside
SeaMonkey.

This is a reported bug, but does not affect every user. I was just
happily copy/pasting in 2.0 with no issue at all.

Have you tried opening in Safe Mode, and see if it works there? If
not, have you tried creating a test profile to see if it works there?

Well, you misunderstand me. Safe Mode does not always reproduce the effect of a clean profile. I am not suggesting that you set up a new profile for permanent use at this point. I am only suggesting that you set up a new profile as a test. You don't need to set up mail/news at all. Just a new profile and do a quick copy paste in the browser to see if that works. That will tell us whether or not the problem is profile related or if it is the program on your system. Since it is working fine for me on both Mac OS X and Win XP, I don't know where to begin looking for the problem on your setup.

If you choose not to do the troubleshooting step, well I guess I can't help you, uch though I would like to. Good luck with it anyhow.
