I managed to configure my sound card using isapnp, and pnpdump.. all files in place,
boot does start isapnp /etc/isapnp.conf , but no sound at all..
Is it necessary to congigure kernel to use soundblaster compatible and configure it
with the irq, and dma with wich i started my card.. I do that either, and cant get
sound. So, has'nt it some tool that autodectetes the sound environment? I use kernel
2.1.132 and isapnptools1.17.

thanks
