Robert Bradshaw is actually a cython developer. But I'll report it
later anyway.

Yeah, it works exactly like lambdify. It should also be possible to
pass lambda strings directly (to avoid sympy overhead). But I will
need to polish the code some more.
For example:

http://www.cs.tut.fi/~ask/cinpy/

might be a better choice than gcc in my case, uses no disk and is fast
and tiny...
