Thanks for all your responses. My semester-end exams will be starting soon and so, I won't be able to devote quite as much time as I would like to this proposal. Nevertheless, I'll make the suggested changes.
Also, I will take a look into the vector analysis packages of other CAS, Mathematica in particular. Accordingly, I'll modify the proposal for whatever functionality/implementation details that I have missed so that my proposal is more complete.
