Which in itself already is a great reason to have source version repository.

I'm not certain if my personal opinion or preferences have any say in 
the matter, but these days, if I'm working on a project whose expected 
lifespan is more than just a couple of days - and even if I 
would/could/should be the only developer ... I still use such a system. 
Because sometimes it just so happens that you make a bad decision down 
the road and actually need to roll back the changes and start thinking 
of the stuff from another angle. In such times (and on many others also) 
a source version controlling software is a lifesaver.

But that's just my two cents... don't know if they're worth a dime :)
