Are you talking about http://openstreetmap.org/user/liam123 ? Are we sure that this is really vandalism? For now I won't commit anything to the api but just show the calls I would have made (dry run) and I'll test it with some of my own changes to avoid messing things up for others, but as time goes by it would be good to have some examples to do practical testing.
