It sounds like you mis-read the email. It does not 'need' to be removed, NearMap have simply said it CAN be relicenced, depending on the user who derived the data. Unless a user can guarantee that their edits were 100% based on nearmap and used no other CC source (unlikely for Australian users), they cant accept the CTs, which means all their edits must be removed. I know that Ive used CC data (other than nearmap) a handful of times in the last few years, but like most people, Im unable to tell you which of my 2000+ changesets is affected and which isnt.
