I'm not sure whether Israelian right is valid e.g. in the UK... => I
don't see any reason someone should not map things in a different country.
If we would follow what wikipod writes, we would also be not allowed to
map China at all (and some other countries as well!) as there are some
very strange laws seen from the perspective of a "open European person".
And: it was always the idea of OSM to 1:1 have the reality on the ground
in the same way in the data base that. This does not rate whether a
forest is more important than an military base.
1. Don't break local law - this may include mapping military
installations
But local law should not be valid if you are in another country.
2. Don't delete things that are already mapped in OSM
If the things are deleted which are correctly mappen the I would
consider deleting being vandalism!
3. Don't get shot
The israelian intelligence agency is everywhere...
