... on that specific note I don't think that people should _ever_ be ashamed to point out something that's "not quite right" or where the perception is wrong. We can only work together if we communicate with each other, and the best way to start is often with a (public or private) polite "I don't agree with the way that you've done or said this", which has now happened.
