Ah, but I didnt KNOW that...
And if your favourite newscollector suddenly gets a mind of its own
its very annoying.
I wonder how many people realise this feature. leaving aside if its
useful or not...

I am not against it or in favour. And as now I know , as you do, who
minds. I mean it took me 3 years to somehow get the scrollock wrong in
a window and thats not bad...
If all programs gave me one problem like that in 3 years of daily
usage I would be happy.

As with many programs usage isnt black and white but that quick search
thing in the Bat as far as I am concerned they can dump it.
I use the mouse much more then the keys but then I always believed in
if one organises data which comes in logically, accessing the data
becomes easier.

If user specific properties can easily be inserted, maybe as plugins
generated by some config program, who minds what someone else uses if
its better for HIS way of doing things.
Even if it may just be better in his mind...

Like the argument what msg gets opened.
I never thread mail as I just read them and if of interest I know
whats where. Advantage of having a kind of photographic memory.
Even if since that motorbike accident I had 6 months ago I find that odd
things I forgot or have to dig to get it.
Maybe old age but you have no idea how difficult it is to get into a
changing my lifelong habbit that I KNOW whats where.
I write it down and can dump the paper...
Not anymore...

Best regards,
