This is funny. Last time you and I had this conversation, you were
using Auto-format and I was using Alt-L. :-) The reason I converted
to the Auto-format club is that auto-format preserves indentations and
double spaces between sentences. Alt-L does not. Personally, that is
worth the price most of the time. For everything else, there's Alt-L.
I guess I should also note that auto-format is very dangerous when you
get it too close to quoted text. I think more than a few of you can
testify to that.

With the huge threads and debates on this list recently, I just wanted
to be clear. Don't want to risk any mild troutings. Now if it were
