Hi Raj,

On 08 September 2001 at 16:37:58 +0530 (which was 12:07 where I live)
Raj wrote to Marck D Pearlstone on tbudl and made these points:

R> Thanks for the 'Lecture'.

My pleasure (that's just to show how small minded I can be, deriving
pleasure from the delivery of a lecture!).

R> Just for info - This folder template become dangerous only when
R> one uses the '%to' Macro or are there any other Macro pitfalls.

The outward dangers are when the %to is used. Other side effects are
just a nuisance in that folder focus can get in the way of message
formatting, which means you have to keep shifting focus from folder to
folder, or at least to make sure you have a neutral folder selected
before writing to your mother, sister, uncle in Canada, etc.

R> Reason I am asking is that I have used the Folder Template AND
R> '%To' only for the TBUDL folder. (Planning to change that right
R> after sending this mail). And find it a bit tedious to create AB
R> templates for all the entries which I have.

I found it tedious to make the change, but then again, Address Book
groups can handle the worst of it. I have about ten groups with their
specific templates then within each group there may be up to four
individuals who need even more special treatment. It's a job worth
doing and makes so much better sense once you've done it.
