        Thanx for your explanation.  This method might be more
flexible, and I can trully appreciate its use, but IMHO is a nuisance
when the POP3 session is interrupted, which, at least to me, happens
quite often.  Couldn't there be a happy medium by keeping UIDLs always
and deleting them only if the messages where properly deleted from the
server and the session had no errors -- which is, I think, the
mechanism used by Eudora.
