ZA is particularly notorious for cause connectivity problems with TB!.
The reports are many and I had my own personal experience with it and
ended up uninstalling it. The thing is that not everyone experiences
these problems. Additionally, the problems don't always start
immediately after installing ZA or TB! and it's this particular point
that made my experience so miserable. They were working fine together
and then the problems started. It therefore took me a long time to pin
down the cause. I just never suspected ZA.

Be that as it may, like myself, those who reported these problems also
cured their problems by switching to another firewall.

You may just be one of the fortunates who has been doing ok with it.
The problems seem to be more common with NT based systems and for those
who keep their machines running for extended periods between reboots. I
think I'd still be using ZA if I rebooted my machine daily since my
problems with it were always cured with a reboot and the problems would
restart after a few days without rebooting.
