STUN requires the client to contact a STUN server to be able to learn its "official" ip address. However, a lot of tools use STUN so you cannot determine if a freenet client connects to a STUN server or a VoIP application. Additionally, I could add a switch to the config file to en-/disable the STUN-support depending on the user's preference.
