Matt,

Thanks for the comment, I did want to point out that I don't think you need to
worry too much about Bill Mixon, internationally recognized caving curmudgeon
and literary critic. He has played at the highest levels of the
speleopolitical game for many years and has some pretty thick skin (and done
good work). I'm also sure he knows how to use the delete key. Understand that
cavers are an irreverent bunch and rarely pass up an opportunity to good
naturedly harass a fellow well-known caver (even if the timing is usually bad)

So, I was thinking about this and your post sounds more like a rough day at the
office - trust me, I understand. So, when you get home from work tonight, I
would recommend that you try the following:

Cross the threshold,

Drop your brief case,

Close and lock the door (including throwing the deadbolt),

Close the blinds,

Change into your bathrobe (you might be suffering from an underwear
construction problem - ask any woman about this),

Turn down the lights,

Put on some soft music,

Pour yourself a glass of wine,

Find a comfortable chair ,

Take a few depth breaths,

Take your mind to a happy place,

And, try and get a grip (on life).

If you do that every day, life will be better.

If that doesn't work, try some Ti Chi, TM, kicking the dog, more alcohol, etc.
They are also tried and true methods.

over or under 100 words) LOL's

Your humor isn't what i was specifically referring to, so I must apologize for
not deleting the old replies. I actually got a chuckle out of it.

It's the fact that it seems like since Bill pointed this out. The Me too posts
have actually increased and more importantly everyone keeps point out that
their response is either over 100 words or under. Again I could careless about
if you response is 1 letter or 100000 words (though I could say I'd probably
ignore one that long). Which a few posts like that are understandable people
want to passive aggressively show that they don't like Bill's idea. It happens
everywhere. The fact that it's gone on so long is what is annoying. I'd hate
for Bill to get annoyed to the point of leaving, not that I actually think he
would.

Just saying again think about the fact that some people love to hear the quips
and others don't. Not saying you have to quit making them, just maybe not on
every topic. Personally i want everyone to have fun, but at the same time
having 20-40 emails waiting everyday to be read and most of them being not
about anything really, and a lot of them talking about 100words, gets a bit
annoying. Again that's what facebook and forums are for.

Though I suspect all I've done is make it so more people will post me too on
here,
Matt Turner
