That was my concern, that it could be put into Standby while something 
was already happening, and I'm glad to see in both of your messages 
that it can be done.

Thanks, it does.  I think I'll go and do it now! 

Oh, and thanks to MZ for posting the shortcuts in a message last 
week.  I knew of _some_ of them, but not all.  I especially enjoy 
the numeric shortcuts to save time.  Since my two TiVos are of 
different vintages, the "welcome" or "boot" animations (Tivo + 0) 
are very different (one is much better than the other).
