Do you have an active TiVo subscription? If not it won't download any of the guide data, so it is normal that it'd skip all of that. Without a sub it works strictly by time and channel just like an old VCR, no guide. > 2. Is there a way to update the software on this early of a Tivo? Make sure the remote has been reset, new batteries, etc. If it still doesn't work, and that's the only button that doesn't, it is probably the remote. And... wait... Thompson?
