I have found that when tmda tries to send a confirmation notice I get the following error in the main exim_mainlog, not in tmda:

2006-01-13 21:37:19 Received from <> U=larrywyb P=local S=3385 [EMAIL PROTECTED]

2006-01-13 21:37:19 SMTP error from remote mail server after
RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: host smtp.central.cox.net [70.168.47.165]: 550 relaying mail to yahoo.com is not allowed

2006-01-13 21:37:19 [EMAIL PROTECTED] R=send_to_gateway T=remote_smtp: SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: host smtp.central.cox.net [70.168.47.165]: 550 relaying mail to yahoo.com is not allowed

If I use Mutt and mail to the same address it goes through fine.
For some reason my ISP is seeing this as an attempt by tmda to relay
through the cox server from an outside source.

If I send to an email address on the cox server tmda works fine, it
sends the request and everything just clicks along but If I try to
send to an email outside of the cox domain cox tells me that relaying
is not allowed.

OR, tmda is trying to use direct smtp rather than going through the cox server. That can't happen anymore since port 25 is blocked on damned near every ISP out there now.

OR, it's the first line in the error above, [EMAIL PROTECTED] How do I change that?

BTW, I already have SMTPHOST = "smtp.central.cox.net" in the config file.

Thanks

How can I fix this? I am using the newest version of tmda.

Any clues???

Thanks
