I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WHERE METALS CONSTANTLY TOUCH MY SKIN. I USE LOTROSONE CREAM, WHICH IS AN ANTI-BACTERIAL FUNGICIDE TO TREAT THE RASHES AND FIND IT MOST EFFECTIVE. IT ALSO HAS A CORTISONE IN IT WHICH HELPS WITH STOPPING THE INFLAMMATION.
THAT WILL NOT STOP THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER. THE METAL ACTUALLY REACTS WITH MY SKIN OILS/ACIDS AND ALLOWS THE FUNGUS TO GROW. WHAT I ALSO FOUND MOST EFFECTIVE WAS TO LITERALLY PAINT THE PARTS OF THE METAL THAT TOUCHES ME WITH FINGER NAIL POLISH, WHICH ACTS AS A "BUFFER" OF SORTS TO KEEP THE METAL FROM TOUCHING MY SKIN. I am contemplating calling her family physician to see what he thinks but thought I would check on here first.
