Michael, I'm running on Windows XP Professional so your suggested 'list process' command won't apply. If I do a c:\netstat -an I get the following:
TCP 0.0.0.0:8080 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING but that doesn't tell me what process is actually doing the listening. Is this the section that I need to modify: <!-- Define a non-SSL HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8080 --> <Connector className="org.apache.catalina.connector.http.HttpConnector" port="8080" minProcessors="5" maxProcessors="75" enableLookups="true" redirectPort="8443" acceptCount="10" debug="0" connectionTimeout="60000"/> ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Teter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Tomcat Users List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, May 16, 2002 10:45 AM Subject: Re: I'm getting no responses to my requests for help on this list > This list is very active, and due to the amount of > noise, it's hard to see or respond to every message. > I'm sure it's not personal :) > > Anyway, I don't know the background on your problem, > but the "address already in use" issue is certainly > not going to help anything. > > You've got to figure out what you have running that > could be using that port.
