Some observations I find remarkable:
"MAR" files are the only ones that have some appearance
at all in the diffs on the right pane.
If I select any other kind of file ("!?CI"), I get empty
diff pages in the notebook on the right.
So, any file that is not MAR hasn't anything to
do with the right pane.
