No. It is currently just a short unshielded CAT-5 patch cable because I am sitting quite close to the router.
It just hit my mind, that perhaps the WLAN interferes with the headphone cable. As soon as I disconnect LAN, WLAN takes over which might explain that hum gets even worse when I disconnect LAN. But it shouldn't be hum.
