These "bootleg live concerts".. are they legal then :-)
Anyway, no SD product since the SB1 has had a Balance control. Many
pre-amps/amps don't have them either. That's why it isn't there now.

I think you will get the balance control you want, via a plugin or
patch - and possibly sooner than you hope! It looks to be quite easy to
implement...
