Unfortunately, this isn't a new problem. I have this same intermittent problem with the receiver and have had it since it came out. The only solution I have found is to unplug the receiver and reboot the computer running the squeezebox server. It hasn't done it in awhile fortunately but it's ridiculously annoying and shouldn't occur.
