Phil,

thanks very much for putting some thought to my problem.

1) is not the case, I only have one SBT in my system, and the server
does only show this one device as recognized

2) have not fiddled, at least not knowingly. Is there any way and other
program on my machine might have interfered with this, and how do I
check that it is in its original state?

3) no bitrate limiting set.

My files are FLAC, and I tried both ways of streaming them, as FLAC and
as PCM. SBS has the latest version for Windows, I always install the
latest upgrades.

Oh, and there is Soundcheck's Toolbox 2.0 on my SBT, for what it's
worth.

A practical question for narrowing it down a little further: Is there
any way I can read what the SBT is playing from within SBT or from the
server logs? I am a little new to this, so forgive me if this is a
stupid question (looked through the menu settings and through the posts
here but to no avail).

Thomas
