You are making it more complicated than it actually is by requesting a step-by-step tutorial!
Obtain a wifi router from your ISP. This should come with a self-installation disk. The first installation will require an ethernet cable connection between the router and your PC - the internet connection and the wifi facility will be set-up by this procedure. Once the router is working, then disconnect the cable. Connect your PC to the router by wifi - Windows will offer you the wifi connection. Switch on Touch, it will enter the setup procedure - do a factory reset to get a clean install. The Touch will ask you whether you want to use wired or wifi connection. Enter the appropriate information when asked. It's that simple. Once you have your PC and Touch connected by wifi you can use the router's configuration program to set allocated or fixed ip addresses. A standard wifi router should easily handle a PC, the Touch and a separate sbs server PC/netbook. I've forgotten why you wanted some complicated two/three level networking system! -- castalla ------------------------------------------------------------------------ castalla's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15624 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89674 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
