I hope it goes great for you. My soldering skills are meh, I really had a hard time pinning the wire to the pad and getting the solder in place, mostly because it's so dang tiny. What I ended up with was a wire encased in solder from pad to pad, but at least there is good contact with the wires and the pads. The de-soldering tool was an absolute necessity for me. I couldn't have done the job without it. There was a couple of times the wire stuck at a wrong angle (um....sideways......doh), the tool easily remedied that. I believe those red/black wire sets are for the speaker and microphone. I did remove those as it makes it much easier to handle. I didn't have trouble at all with those.
