EDO has two main points: 1. allow one to connect  a USB DAC directly to
TOUCH and 2. allow playing of 24/192 from TOUCH (from USB, S/PDIF, or
Optical digital outs).  

Sorry, I wasn't very clear.  EDO doesn't work on analog outs from TOUCH
as the analogs are turned off by EDO. What I meant was to connect TOUCH,
with EDO, via S/PDIF coax input (or optical) to your DAC.  The hit and
miss area is USB connection to DAC. Early in this thread there is info
on when one needs to have a USB "hub" between the touch and the DAC to
work with some sorts of USB DACs, etc.
