It is a very logical thing for me that running privative javascript code is a bad deal for everyone, and free software community must fight with all its forces for defending the freedom and rights of, at a minimum, those people who decides use their own computers with only free software.
User's freedom is much important than secrecy. Wishes of secrecy shouldn't
break this rule. Free software is here for that reason. Although usefulness
of free software is evident, when talking about free software we cannot loose
the view that freedom is always the most important value.
