At this very moment I believe all our systems support up to the 3rd
generation CPUs. We did offer Intel Atom until fairly recently which was not
3rd generation. This was a very low end starter system though (priced at just
$249 USD). We limit the offering to CPUs which don't have trusted execution
technology and those which don't have vPro support. Then the cheapest CPUs in
some products are 1st generation. I believe there is at least one or more 3rd
generation CPU options for all systems.
We will have 4th generation offerings shortly although these systems require
a new socket and thus will not have 1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation CPU options
available.
You can look up the specs of each CPU listed for any given system on Intels
website. It will state the specific generation.
