Please understand that this is my opinion and nothing more. I believe that a Christian can remain carnal only as long as he or she is ignorant of their position. Once they have received the truth, if they love the Lord with all their heart, they will deny self and follow where He leads. To presume upon God's grace is not the mark of a true believer.

What makes you think a Christian can be carnal Terry?
Is the term "carnal Christian" in the Bible or is it a term
coined by men's doctrines? I know Paul told the ppl at
Corinth that they were carnal and in his letters he speaks
to "the Church" but in the light of the rest of scripture carnality
must be left behind because it is the overcomers who make
it, those who endure to the end will be saved.
