IF Adam had not transgressed, he would have been immortal.

No biblical evidence that this is true. This is an erroneous premise.

I assume you agree with that?

Nope.

Then, do you believe immortal men and women can have children?

There are no mortal men and women on this earth. When we are resurrected the mortal put on immortality. (1 Cor 15:53)

Now let me take it a step further......suppose Eve had partaken of the FF and had fallen, but Adam had not transgressed and remained immortal. Do you think Adam (being in a higher state of immortality) could have had children with Eve (in a lower state of mortality)?

Hypothetical and impossible situation. It is based on the false premise that A&E were immortal to begin with, so all of your statements that followed are in error, too.

When A&E ate the FF, they did not die physically, they died spiritually. They were from the start mortal beings. That did not change when they ate the FF. That is why God banned them from the garden, so they would NOT eat of the tree of life and become immortal, thus live eternally in a fallen state, and be eternally unredeemable. So, casting them from the garden was an act of mercy, so that they were redeemable as mortals.

Genesis 3:22b-23 ... and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
