Your original observation was not about the fall of mankind Jonathan, your statement was
the the only one who had ever kept the commandments was Jesus himself which was false. judyt

I almost feel like I am in the twilight zone having to make this observation on TT to Judy of all people:  All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  This includes the rich young ruler, John the Baptist’s parents and even Mary, Jesus’ mother.  The only one it does not include is Jesus Christ, who although He was just like us, did not sin.  The rich young ruler had not followed the spirit of the commandments – also he was referring to a distinct list of commandments, not the Torah as a whole.

 Sorry...I forgot who wrote this:

There has only been one person who ever obeyed the Torah of God: Jesus Christ.

jt: False...There is the rich young ruler who said (referring to the Commandments) "all these have I kept from my youth up" and Jesus did not confront him and call him a liar. (Luke 18:21)
