Beginning with post Eden civilization,  there existed standards of conduct that God expected of man (other than those related to Jewish history) .   Cain was fearful of civilizations not defined in the biblical message except to indicate that they were present in his time.    A mark or sign was given to Cain to protect him.   That mark would have been of no value if God had not made its meaning clear to the other civilizations.    God dealt differently with the Jewish culture than with the other civilizations of the time and yet, there are some indications these civilizations had a knowledge of God and that He dealt with with them  (alla Cain's circumstance).    How does this thinking lend itself to a discussion of world religions.   Do we claim that the  nations of Old Scripture times except the Jews had no relationship with God, deserted by their creator or, at best, ignored?

========================================================Tell me if I'm confused, brother John, but I was under the impression that there were no Jews until there was a guy named Judah?

Ah yes.   But there is such a thing as Jewish history.   But aside from that observation, is there no answer to my question?   Let's say that God dealt with all in the same manner he dealt with Abraham, Isaac, etc.    By the time the Egyptian Sojourn begins  --   we see the People of God and everyone else.    Did God desert everyone else.    Where did their religion(s) come from.   Are they judged as was the person in Romans 2?   By the way, I have no agenda, as of yet, with this line of questioning.   I am just asking.
