I know that God is no respector of persons The Bible plainly says that. You cannot be so important that God feels impressed to treat you better than others. I also know that God by His own choosing, treats some people better than He treats other people. He is the potter. That is His right. There is nothing unrighteous about that. Abraham was a great example of God showing favor. It is obvious to everyone but you. King David should have been put to death for premeditated murder, but He was a man after God's own heart. Compare that to the poor slob who simply reached out to keep the ark from falling and was struck dead on the spot. Sorry, but you cannot explain that any other way than that God may favor one of His creations over another.
