There are very few advantages in moving to East Texas. However, one notable
benefit is no presidential campaign or Super-PAC buys airtime for
commercials. (Of course, the dark cloud in this is they will likely solidly
back one candidate -- though there are not too many yard signs to show for
this. This is country where "Country First" and "Bush/Cheney" is synonymous
with "Proud to be an American" and "Born in the USA" and just flying the
American flag itself.) Of course, if things work out, I'll wind up back in
the torrent of ads. Still, one theory I forgot to entertain is the
carpet-bombing of advertisements may have already pre-baked opinions well
before the conventions, at least to Romney's disadvantage.

Moreover, there may be a law of diminishing returns...
