Thanks, we know about the change and plan a new release soon.[1][2]
As far as I know the change is not official yet, though, as Manitoba has not yet proclaimed the law and thereby brought it into force, via an announcement issued by the Lieutenant Governor pursuant to an Order in Council. I was kinda hoping they'd make the change official before the next TZDB release, under the usual principle that there's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip. I myself wrote to the Lieutenant Governor's office today about this. If anyone has contacts with the Manitoba government that could help speed up that process, it'd be appreciated.
