Wally, Since your audience is truly international and we are all spread out across the globe rather than located in large groups in a few places, would IBM not be able to reach far more attendees, and at far lower cost to both the attendees and to IBM, if these sessions were presented as Webinars?
Just think of the number of people who will not attend your classes, the number of people you are missing, due to location issues, schedule issues, contiguous time away from the office issues, cost issues etc.. Conventional classroom training has to be the least cost effective training model available, given today's technology. How much more often could you "run" these sessions in an updated format if you could run them as webinars? How many more people could you reach if you ran them once a month for a nominal fee per session? Aren't we all in the business of providing critical information in a timely and cost-effective manner? Why do the cobbler's children have no shoes?
