So to resolve this matter, I propose that we BOTH-POST. That's right, we will neither top-post or bottom-post. The reply will be in the middle of the email and we'll have quotes both at the top and at the bottom. This way everybody can be happy. </joke> Seriously now, this has gone too far and is now impeding the functioning of this mailing list. It is not two or three guys' "fascist" opinion that you should not top-post. Personally, I've been using mailing lists for 15 years on the Internet and 5 more on the modem BBSs we used to communicate before that. The commonly accepted netiquette has *always* been "Quote on top, reply at the bottom". Practically every top-poster that writes to this list is reigniting this flame by complaining, instead of simply complying with this one simple thing that is being asked of them. And you ask now why some of us appear rude? Well the 100th time you ask for something reasonable and instead of "OK dude" you get called a fascist, that awakes the rude monster inside. That was my 2 cents. Jimmy -- ubuntu-art mailing list ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art
