Mwaami Musaazi
What we are debating here is not what Obote found or did not find. We are
debating the fact that Museveni is scared to go into the Uganda hospitals he
has dilapidated. Apparently Mwaami Matovu is telling me that Museveni is not
scared to go to the hospitals as any President cares about security and I
think Mwaami Matovu that is crap. So let me take this chance as well to
expand on why it is crap.
For two days I have consistently asked a very simple question, why was Amin
and Obote using Uganda hospitals and Museveni with his entire family are not
using them? And no body has had the guts to tell us the truth. Matovu wants
us to believe that Museveni is worried about security. Mwaami Matovu you are
really wrong.
The problem we have in Uganda is a government which came to power through a
war. And one of the ways NRM fought the bush war was to get Uganda hospital
Doctors from Western Uganda, and use them to poison people NRM wanted dead.
When NRM came to power, it continued to use Uganda Doctors as weapons, to
kill people who are relised from Luzira prison. And you out there you know
well that if your relative is relised from Luzira he/she ends up dead out
side. It is the same system Uganda government is still using today. Among
those who have been poisoned by Western Doctors in Uganda are Namiiti, Major
Olwol and Paul Muwanga. There are even more names if the decision was to
post all of them. Museveni knows of this plan that is why he is scared of
being a patient in a Uganda hospital or any of his family members. The fact
that Amin and Obote did not use the medical system to kill their political
opponents, they used Mulago hospital as any other Uganda for the system was
not corrupt by killer leaders.
Professionally, Doctors are trained to function with out fear or favour,
that is why you see that Museveni's Doctor in London is an Acholi, for that
is what he was trained to do, irrespective of the circumstances in Uganda.
He is a Doctor. And by law he is required to give Museveni nothing less than
a true medical service as Museveni a patient requires. That is one of the
major problems NRM has brought in our country. The Fighters and in the end
the state using Doctors to kill Political adversaries. That is why I have
stated over and over, that I am not more so concerned on what NRM is doing
in Uganda, for we can clean it up when they leave, but the long term effect
this backward government will leave in our nation, scares the hell out of
me.
Museveni turned Uganda Doctors into killing machines, and he is today scared
to use them for even a very simple thing like Natasha's giving birth.
