Thanks for the reply jsprag. So what is the real benefit of having your OS on a different drive to your data store? Or more importantly what is the downside of having the OS and store on the same drive/partition?
Am I better to install the OS on the 160GB 2.5" and then buy another drive (probably 3.5") and use this for the data store?
